Meet the ChatMore Team

At ChatMore Speech & Language Therapy, we believe communication is about more than words, it's about connection, confidence, and being able to participate in the world around you.

Our team brings together clinical experience, education, and a genuine passion for helping children communicate in ways that are meaningful to them. We partner with families to create supportive, individualized experiences that meet each child where they are and build on their unique strengths.

Meet Kathia Blaise, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist | Founder

I’m a Florida-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with more than a decade of experience supporting children across educational, clinical, and teletherapy settings.

My passion is helping children develop the communication skills they need to express themselves, connect with others, and participate more confidently in everyday life.

I take a child-led, play-based, and family-centered approach to therapy, recognizing that every child learns and communicates differently. I believe therapy should build on a child's strengths, interests, and individual communication style while providing families with practical strategies they can use beyond the therapy session.

At ChatMore, my goal is to create a space where children feel seen, supported, and empowered to communicate.

Meet Carine King, SLPA

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant | Former Elementary Educator

I’m a certified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant with nearly 20 years of experience working with and supporting young children.

Before joining ChatMore, I worked as an elementary educator, where I developed a strong understanding of how children learn, build relationships, and develop confidence in their abilities.

My approach is centered on patience, connection, and meeting each child where they are. I enjoy creating engaging, supportive experiences that encourage children to communicate, participate, and build new skills through play and meaningful interactions.

As part of a military family, I've had the opportunity to work with children and families from many different backgrounds. These experiences have taught me the importance of flexibility, understanding, and creating a welcoming environment for every family.

Our Approach

Why Families Choose ChatMore

At ChatMore, we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to communication.

We take the time to understand each child's strengths, interests, communication style, and individual needs. Therapy is designed to be meaningful, functional, and connected to the child's everyday life.

We also believe families should feel like partners, not bystanders. We work alongside parents and caregivers to help carry communication strategies beyond the therapy room and into everyday routines.
